Decorating Kiln, Gladstone
£60.00Price
One of two versions of the smallest surviving kiln on the Gladstone Pottery Museum site, I love the variety of shapes and textures in and around it. This linocut was actually taken from a drawing made on site, most of my linocuts are drawn from photographs that I've taken as references. As with Johnson's and Enson I decided to make a feature of the cobbles, which was even more of a challenge here as there is also a pile of coal, which had to be of a distinctly different texture.
The image is A6, on paper that is just smaller than A4. It will be packed securely in a flat envelope reinforced with cardboard.
